Mixed martial arts academy software for every discipline

One fighter might hold a blue belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and still be new to the clinch. Sidekick MAS tracks each discipline separately on that one member.

Ranks in every discipline

Each discipline keeps its own ranks. A promotion in Muay Thai leaves the member's BJJ belt untouched.

Technique in the curriculum

Every level lists its strikes, takedowns, clinch work and submissions, plus anything else you check, such as sparring readiness.

Signed waivers on every record

Send waivers and agreements as a link, in any of four languages. The signed copy stays on the member's record.

Striking, grappling and fight team

Run striking, grappling, kids and fight team classes as separate programs on your schedule, each with its own memberships.

MMA check-in before the gloves go on

Members check in the way that suits your front desk, and every check-in lands on their record.

PIN at the kiosk

Members tap their own 4-digit PIN on a tablet at the front desk. Too many wrong guesses lock the kiosk for a while.

Card or key tag

Scan a member card or key tag with a barcode scanner, and the kiosk finds them at once.

Name search

No card with them? Members search for their name on the kiosk and tap to check in.

Instructor's roster

Instructors mark who is on the mat straight from the class roster.

Bulk entry at the desk

Staff record a whole class at once after it ends, ticking everyone who trained.

Each check-in confirms the membership

Before a kiosk or roster check-in saves, Sidekick MAS checks the membership is live and covers the class. If it isn't, it says why: no membership, canceled, frozen, or not in the plan. That tells the desk what to do next: sell a membership, win them back, unfreeze it, or add the class.

The arts your MMA academy teaches

MMA is built from other arts. Add each as a discipline with its own ranks and curriculum. Then see a member's progress across all of them.

Boxing and Kickboxing

Hands and feet at range: footwork, combinations and defense, the striking base most MMA classes start from.

Muay Thai

The art of eight limbs: punches, kicks, knees and elbows, with clinch work that carries straight into MMA.

Wrestling

Takedowns, takedown defense and top control, so a fighter decides where the fight takes place.

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu

Ground control, escapes and submissions, with belts and stripes that Sidekick MAS tracks alongside every other rank.

Each one is a discipline in Sidekick MAS, and you can add MMA itself with levels of your own.

What else your academy runs in Sidekick MAS

The software that tracks ranks also runs your curriculum, member portal, gear store and sign-up forms.

Multiple disciplines, one academy

Teach MMA, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Muay Thai, Boxing and Wrestling under one account. Each discipline keeps its own ranks and curriculum, and a member can train in all of them.

Build your curriculum

For every level, list the techniques and attendance it asks for. Attach instructions and a video link, then set how each item is graded.

A portal for every member

Members and parents sign in to your academy's own portal. They see the schedule, sign documents, update their details and follow progress.

Your online store

Sell gloves, shin guards, rash guards and apparel in the portal. Members order there and settle up at the front desk.

RISE forms that fill your classes

Build trial-offer sign-up pages in four languages. Everyone who claims a trial lands in your pipeline as a new prospect.

MMA academy software questions

What is MMA academy management software?

It is software that runs the day-to-day of a mixed martial arts academy: members and families, check-ins, ranks in every discipline, the technique curriculum, memberships, waivers and messages. Sidekick MAS covers every item on that list in one web app.

Can one member hold ranks in several disciplines?

Yes. A member can hold a BJJ belt, a Muay Thai level and an MMA level at once. Each discipline tracks its own.

MMA has no belts. How do I track progress?

You name your own MMA levels and set what each one asks for. Arts with their own ranks, such as Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, keep theirs alongside.

How do members check in?

Members tap a 4-digit PIN, scan a card or key tag, or search their name at the kiosk. Coaches can also mark them from the class roster. Staff can enter a whole class at once. No check-in is saved until the membership checks out.

Can members sign waivers online before they spar?

Yes. Waivers and agreements go out as a link. Members sign on a phone without an account, in English, Spanish, French or Portuguese. The signed copy stays on their record.

Can I sell gloves and shin guards online?

Yes. Your store lists gloves, shin guards, rash guards and apparel in the portal. Members place the order there and pay the academy in person.

Do members and parents get their own portal?

Yes. They sign in to your academy's own portal to see the schedule, sign documents, update contact details and follow progress.

What does Sidekick MAS cost for an MMA academy?

Plans start at $39.99 a month, priced by your number of active members, with a 30-day free trial. See the pricing page for every plan.
